Stephanie Frame

Stephanie Frame is a visual artist based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Since completing her BFA at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2011, she has developed an art practice exploring abstraction through the division and formation of space and line. She draws influence from themes of astronomy, architecture, functional craft, and the sublime. Starting from the place of printmaking, her practice has expanded to working with paper in other forms, including thread, watercolor, and collage. Through her artwork, she explores an intimate architecture and a continual balance between the organic and the structured. The resulting imagery is delicately constructed to produce quiet compositions that invite the viewer in to slow down and reflect.
